Melted Pot: recipes from our kitchen, and the books we love.
We are Ben and Teresa, and we cook together. This site holds our own recipes and our favourite picks from cookbooks. For the picks, the directions are rewritten in our own words.
Every recipe here is also a 6x4" printed card and a book page. For several years we have mailed printed recipe cards inside our Christmas cards to friends and family: a ginger molasses cookie card in 2023, pierogi dough in 2024 and the ragù in 2025.
One day the book pages will be bound into a small-batch printed cookbook.
